the River
Tell me, are you afraid of me? tell me the truth, the walls are watching you for they cannot speak but see more than they could mend so tell me, are you afraid of me? here, let me tell you a secret; there was a river where a raft was sailing on, then there was me. The river was endless and its flow I could not control sometimes when I was reckless, the raft would sink and it would drown me and I told you, I needed to be really calm to save myself, a complete silence. I had to ignore the advices they gave and the help they offered and though I tried to sail this raft in calm water, the wind was still blowing the river was too weak it could not help but tried to break loose I told you I needed a cane and a sail, but you told me to swim and the river was too strong and unpredictable. I asked you for one last time, are you afraid of me? and you left sailing on an endless journey. bylilacrose // the River
